How much does pest control cost?

It depends on the pest, the size of the property and the extent of the problem, so we quote after understanding the situation rather than posting a headline price we would have to revise at the door. What we will commit to is that the quoted price is the price — no trip fees, no upsell on arrival, and any additional cost is approved by you before it is incurred.

Do you work weekends and holidays?

Yes. We book and service seven days a week including statutory holidays. Wasp nests, in particular, tend to be discovered on a Saturday afternoon, and we would rather take that call than tell you to wait until Monday.

Are your treatments safe around children and pets?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when the re-entry instructions are followed. We use Health Canada registered products at the minimum effective dose and your technician will tell you exactly how long to keep treated areas clear. Tell us in advance about pregnancy, respiratory conditions, allergies, aquariums or food-handling areas so we can plan around them.

How quickly can you attend?

Same-day service is often available depending on your location and the time of day. Call and we will tell you honestly when we can be there rather than booking you in and hoping.

Do you guarantee your work?

Where a guarantee period applies to your treatment, it is stated in writing on your quote and work order before you agree to anything, and we re-treat at no charge if the pest returns within it. Guarantee periods vary by treatment, and inspection-only and one-time services are not guaranteed unless we have stated so in writing. We would rather be specific than advertise a number we cannot honour in every case.

Do I need to leave the property during treatment?

For most treatments you will need to keep the treated areas clear for a set period rather than leave entirely. Your technician gives you the specific timing before work starts. Some treatments, particularly for bed bugs, need longer.

Do you service businesses as well as homes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We run documented programmes for restaurants, offices, retail and grocery, warehouses, hotels and multi-unit residential buildings, including the written service records needed for public health inspection and third-party audit.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across Ontario from our Owen Sound base, covering the GTA, Hamilton, Burlington, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, Niagara and Kawartha Lakes. If you are just outside one of these, call and ask — we often can.

What happens on a first visit?

Accepted Answer

An inspection first. We confirm the species, find where they are actually coming from, and explain what treatment involves and what it will cost before anything is applied. If the honest answer is that you do not need treatment, we will tell you that.

Question 10

Do you offer ongoing or recurring service plans?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Recurring plans run at an agreed frequency and continue until either side gives 30 days' written notice. They suit commercial sites, multi-unit buildings and properties with recurring seasonal pressure.
